Coleen Flynn

Coleen Flynn has nearly 30 years experience working with children, youth, adults, couples and families at the IWK, Nova Scotia Hospital and Dalhousie Department of Psychiatry and School of Social Work. Coleen has extensive experience and knowledge working with youth and adults diagnosed with a variety of mental health challenges.

In 2017, the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers honored her with the Dianne Kays Excellence Award.

Coleen Flynn is one of the few therapists in Nova Scotia to have achieved membership in the Canadian Association for Couple and Family Therapy.

 

Coleen works from a trauma informed lens and is specifically trained in Ecosystemic Family Therapy, Couple Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Collaborative Problem Solving and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy,

Coleen treats youth (ages 14 and older) and adults for a variety of issues.
